The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the investigation of a personal injury motorcycle crash that happened in the town of Huron on Wednesday.
Deputies were dispatched to the area of Fifth and Wilson roads. They learned that a motorcycle slid off the roadway an the operator, identified as 50-year-old John Benjamin, was unresponsive.
The Lyons resident was traveling west on Wilson Road when his motorcycle went off the north side of the road and slid approximately 100 feet.
He was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for abrasions and possible internal injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
