The border between the United States and Canada is staying shut down, according to officials.
Non-essential travel between the two counties through the northern U.S. border was extended another month.
It now runs until at least September 21st.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security announced the move late in the week.
“We continue to work with our Canadian and Mexican partners to slow the spread of COVID-19. Accordingly, we have agreed to extend the limitation of non-essential travel at our shared land ports of entry through September 21,” acting DHS Secretary Chad Wolf tweeted.
