The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Penfield man following a motor vehicle collision on State Route 88 in Sodus.
Deputies say James Prebola, 54, was charged with felony DWAI drugs and following too closely.
Deputies responded to a crash and had to shut down a portion of Route 88 due to a large debris field and leaking fluids. Following a roadside investigation into Prebola’s involvement, it was determined that he was impaired by drugs while operating the vehicle.
He was transported to the Wayne County Jail for processing. He was released and is scheduled to appear at a later date.
