This week the Cayuga County Health Department reported seven new cases of the Novel Coronavirus.
On Monday, the County saw its highest single-day total of new, confirmed cases since May.
Public Health Director Kathleen Cuddy tells Finger Lakes News Radio that the numbers prove the virus is still around.
She said one cause of the increased cases was out-of-state travel. “It’s frustrating for everyone when guidance changes, because of the ramifications,” she said. “We’re moving forward though. We’re a strong community.”
None of those who tested positive this week are hospitalized.
