The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 46-year-old Avoca man following a rape investigation.
Matthew Kapp, 46, was released on $500 bail following his arrest, which took place on July 28th. It was reported to deputies on July 22nd.
It’s alleged that over a 10 year period Kapp engaged in sexual conduct with a minor. He was charged with first-degree rape, and first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child.
Both are felonies. The charges will be answered at a later date in local court.
