First responders were dispatched to Cayuga Lake to rescue a paddle boarder, according to reports over the weekend.
The Aurora Water Rescue team located the boarder in the middle of Cayuga Lake around 9 p.m.
He was brought to shore in Seneca County.
First responders noted that he was not wearing a flotation device. It’s unclear how long he was in the water for before crews rescued him.
The identity of the rescued paddle boarder was not released.
