A violent incident at a hospital in Canandaigua resulted in a number of charges.
Police say Alan Donlon, 60, of Rochester was charged with third-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree harassment, and disorderly conduct after an incident at Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua.
Police say Donlon was yelling obscenities and threatening staff members. When hospital security responded and attempted to deescalate the situation – Donlon struck a staff member and then the security officer.
He then attempted to prevent security from calling 911 by striking a phone out of the officer’s hand.
Police say Donlon was arrested and transported to the Ontario County Jail.
