The Canandaigua Police Department reports the arrest of a Henrietta man following a Beals Street incident.
Brandon Phelps, 35, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt after sending threatening messages to a person at the Beals Street residence.
Police say he threatened physical harm through a number of messages. The victim in this case was protected by a court order, which Phelps violated by sending the messages.
Phelps was arrested and taken to the Ontario County Jail, according to deputies.
