Police: Pedestrian struck by car in Ithaca suffers non-life threatening injuries

On Wednesday around 10:41 a.m. police responded to a car vs. pedestrian crash at the intersection of West Seneca and North Meadow streets.

The injured pedestrian was transported to Cayuga Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.


Police are reminding the community that there is always heavier pedestrian and vehicular traffic during warmer months, along with changing traffic patterns due to road condition. They say to be aware of surroundings and take care when operating a vehicle or crossing roadways.

The incident remains under investigation at this time.
