A 21-year-old suffered non-life threatening injuries after a fall in the area of First Dam in Ithaca on Thursday.
Police, firefighters, and ambulance personnel all responded to the 300 block of Giles Street for the reported fall.
First responders say they found several cars parked in no parking zones, fire zones and tow away zones when they arrived making it different for them to help the injured man.
The victim who fell was taken away via ambulance to a nearby hospital. He’s expected to make a full-recovery.
Meanwhile, five cars were towed and six parking citations were issued.
Police say the gorge area was full of people and several had to be asked to leave the area.
Ithaca Police are reminding people that swimming in the gorge area is against local laws and unsafe.
