Two adults, one minor face felony charge after Lyons pizzeria burglary

New York State Police say three people were arrested on burglary charges following an investigation into an incident that occurred just a few days prior.

On Monday police arrested Joelito Fernandez, 21, of Massena for third-degree burglary. On Tuesday, Angel Ortiz, 19, of Lyons was also charged with third-degree burglary. Both were arraigned and released on their own recognizance.

An adolescent offender was taken into custody on Tuesday for third-degree burglary, resisting arrest, and menacing a police officer. Troopers say the suspect was arraigned in Youth-Part Court and remanded to a secure detention facility in Syracuse.

Police say the entire investigation was launched after a burglary at Uncle Zack’s Pizzeria in Lyons. The burglary charges are felonies, police said.
