Manchester Town Supervisor Jeff Gallahan is officially the winner in the 131st Republican Primary.
The contest was held more than two weeks ago to find a Republican challenger to face-off against Matthew Miller, a Canandaigua Democrat, in November’s general election.
Gallahan received 3,490 votes, with former Canandaigua City Councilor Cindy Wade finishing runner-up with 3,067.
The district includes all of Ontario County and the norther half of Seneca County.
