The Mets’ full regular-season schedule for the 60-game 2020 MLB season was released on Monday. As expected, it is extremely difficult, with especially tough opening and closing stretches and a rough interleague slate.
With MLB limiting travel in an effort to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, all teams will be playing a regional schedule in 2020. For example, teams in the NL East will play only in their own division and against AL East teams.
For the Mets (and other contenders in the NL East), it could mean an incredibly challenging path to the playoffs, which – as of now – will be the same format as it was in 2019.
Here is the Mets’ entire schedule, who have the toughest schedule through August 6 with a .571 rating:
