The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 32-year-old following a domestic incident.
On Saturday around 12:30 a.m. deputies responded to 350 Waterloo-Geneva Road for the report of a physical domestic incident in progress.
Deputies discovered a female had been restrained and not allowed to leave the residence, and when she did attempt to call 911 – was prevented from doing so.
Deputies say investigation determined that Matthew Northrop, 32, prevented the 911 call and did not allow her to leave the residence. He was charged with criminal mischief and unlawful imprisonment.
Northrup was transported to the Seneca County law Enforcement Center where he was arraigned. The charges will be answered at a later date.
