City of Auburn watches AIM funding disappear

The City of Auburn is watching it’s AIM funding disappear.

City Clerk Chuck Mason says the official word came down this week, but that officials in the City knew it was on the way.

“The twelve cities were all notified,” he told Finger Lakes News Radio. However, that announcement came as a heads up that the payment would be delayed.

Now though, it’s unclear when the AIM funding will come through.

For the City of Auburn it means another $1 million that will need to be found elsewhere to keep the budget whole.
