The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 36-year-old Canandaigua resident following a personal watercraft crash that occurred on a private pond.
Investigators say Raymond Foster, 36, of Canandaigua was charged following an incident that happened on May 16th at a property on County Road 4 in the town of Hopewell.
Foster is said to have been operating a personal watercraft and had an 8-year-old male on-board when the crash occurred.
Neither were wearing personal flotation devices, as required by law, which resulted in Foster being charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
The charge will be answered at a later date.
