Things are going to get difficult for the City of Auburn, as it continues to navigate the fallout of the Coronavirus Pandemic.
City Clerk Chuck Mason tells Finger Lakes News Radio that the City is already wrestling with a million dollar budget gap.
Originally funding was supposed to be delayed, but Governor Andrew Cuomo said significant cuts would likely be necessary.
Now, the City has learned that it will lose approximately $1 million in AIM funding.
Mason tells Finger Lakes News Radio that they have reached out to Sen. Pam Helming for assistance.
