Officials in Cayuga County have announced the reopening of the DMV office by appointment only.
It begins on Wednesday.
County Clerk Sue Dwyer says residents will be able to book appointments online to obtain a learner’s permit, restricted or conditional license, non-driver identification card, or commercial driver’s license.
Renewing or making changes to DMV documents will also be doable through appointment.
All other transactions will need to be done via mail, according to Dwyer.
