Sheriff Henderson: Massive drug investigation ends with 24 arrests, some of which occurred in Ontario County

Sheriff Kevin Henderson says two dozen arrests were made and drugs seized following a massive drug investigation that concluded.

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Rochester Police Department, Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, New York State Police, Greece Police Department, Irondequoit Police Department, U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, U.S. Attorney’s Office and the ATF.


Over 24 arrests were made for various drug charges, several in Ontario County, which led to taking 400 grams of fentanyl, 5 kilos of cocaine and 1 kilo of heroin off the streets, according to Henderson. The task force also seized over $1 million in cash.

Sheriff Henderson says he assigned a drug investigator to the task force, with the investigator putting in countless hours. “Many of these drugs were destined for areas within our county,” he said in a press release.


Sheriff Henderson identified those who were arrested on Thursday as Jose Roman Jr., Peter Pacheco, Xavier Gonzalez, Nathaniel Claudio, Isiah Claudio, Phillip Coleman, Angel Ortiz, Hector River-Torres and Luis Ortiz. He said a second large arrest – involving 17 people – took place on April 30th.

He said all of those individuals arrested on Thursday were charged with conspiriing to possess with the intent to distribute. Henderson said more charges are pending.
