The State Historic Preservation Board for State and National Registers of Historical Places has identified a Canandaigua structure as one for listing of historical places.
A total of 28 nominations have been made at this point.
It includes the now vacant Miller Corsets factor on Chapin Street in Canandaigua. That factory was build in the 1920s as part of the nation’s largest manufacturer of ladies’ corsets.
It’s a four-story, steel-frame building.
The distinction could help land revitalization funds.
