Deputies say they were called to assist the Macedon Police Department with an investigation into a hit-and-run that happened in the town of Macedon.
Chad Hammond, 44, of Walworth was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, driving while intoxicated, driving with a BAC over 0.08, suspended registration, failure to surrender registration, operating without insurance, and a number of other traffic violations following a crash.
Hammond is accused of leaving the scene of a crash in Macedon. He was later located exiting the vehicle at his residence.
Deputies say a breath sample determined his BAC to be .15.
Hammond was released and will answer the charges at a later date.
