The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Greenwood resident following an investigation into a complaint of sexual misconduct.
Jerel Woodworth, 72, is accused of subjecting a person under 16-years-old to sexual contact by forcible compulsion.

He was charged with first-degree sex abuse, a felony, and arraigned in Steuben County Centralized Arraignment and released on $200 bail.
The investigation remains open and involved multiple agencies.
