The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the investigation of a single-vehicle, personal injury crash that happened in the area of Walworth Marion Road and Walworth Marion Spur Road in the town of Marion on Monday.
It happened around 10:30 p.m., according to deputies, who say that a motorcyclist collided with a deer.
The operator, identified as Phillip Dorf, 43, of Marion was traveling west on Walworth Marion Road when a deer entered the road causing a collision between the two.
Dorf was ejected from the motorcycle and sustained injuries to his hands, and forearm. He also complained about general pain across his entire body.
Deputies say Dorf was checked over at the scene, but refused additional treatment. The Marion Fire Department assisted with traffic control.
