Deputies: Seneca Falls man tried to break into home of protected party, violating court order

Deputies say a 40-year-old Seneca Falls man was taken into custody after a domestic incident on several charges.

Michael Mclean, 40, was charged with criminal contempt, criminal mischief, and trespass, according to deputies.

They say the charges stem from a domestic incident in Varick where he caused damage to a residential door.

Deputies said Mclean showed up to a home with a court ordered protected party inside, and attempted to gain entry to the home by breaking through the door.

He was held pending arraignment.
