Police say two people have been charged following an ATV crash in Seneca Falls on May 18th.
The Seneca Falls Police Department reports that on Thursday the investigation into the May 18th ATV crash concluded.
The operator was identified as 25-year-old Cody Sabol, who was airlifted to a Syracuse-area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say Sabol crashed his ATV through a field and drainage ditch, before being ejected from it. Another person, identified as 22-year-old Jack Harris, of Weedsport was also operating an ATV alongside Sabol and crashed at the same location.
He wasn’t injured, though.
Both Sabol and Harris were ticketed for not wearing a helmet, having an unregistered and uninsured ATV, unlawfully operating the ATV’s on private property, and failure to display registration.
Sabol was also ticketed for operating the ATV under the influence of alcohol. Both will appear in Seneca Falls Town Court to answer the charges.
