The Canandaigua City School District announced new plans for graduation, even as Governor Andrew Cuomo cleared the way for outdoor, socially-distant graduation ceremonies.
The district will take their event to Bristol Mountain.
While there was some discussion about using CMAC as the venue for graduation – crowd limitations would have ultimately gotten in the way.
The plan for Bristol Mountain includes students, along with three guests, taking the chair lift to the peak to receive their diploma.
Graduation is scheduled for June 27th.
