Firefighters worked to save a local laundromat, but officials say the building in the town of Marion is a complete loss.
The Marion Fire Department was called out to the Main Street laundromat around 9 p.m. on Sunday.
First responders from East Williamson, Palmyra, Walworth, and Marion were all called to the scene.
It took more than an hour-and-a-half to contain the blaze. When firefighters first arrived – they could see flames shooting from the top of the structure.
No one was hurt, but the building was a total loss. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
