Courts close in Geneva out of abundance of caution after protest threat

Judge Craig Doran announced on Monday that courts in Geneva would be closing early due to the threat of planned protests outside those buildings.

“As result of information received regarding a planned rally in the vicinity of the Geneva City Court, and out of an abundance of caution for the safety of all, Geneva City Court will close as of 12 p.m. today,” Doran said in a statement.
