Police: Geneva man charged with unlawfully dealing with a child in Seneca Falls

The Seneca Falls Police Department reports the arrest of a Geneva man for unlawfully dealing with a child after an incident at a local apartment complex.

Police say Joseph D. Ortiz-Berrios, 22, of Geneva was charged with first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child.

The arrest stems from a report that a group of people were arguing loudly outside of a local apartment complex.

When police arrived, two people younger than 21 had consumed alcoholic beverages. The alcohol had been provided to them by Ortiz-Berrios, according to police.

He was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charge at a later date.
