Sheriff Ron Spike says the body of a 27-year-old drowning victim has been recovered.
Daniel Manganaro, 27, was one of the boaters who was missing after an incident in April at the center of Seneca Lake.
Two had set out to cross Seneca Lake, but an incident involving the canoe caused it to overturn.
One of the individuals was found hours later, clinging to the craft.
Meanwhile, Manganaro was finally located this week using underwater sonar and a variety of other search methods.
New York State Police assisted throughout.
