Police: Waterloo man accused of choking, restraining woman against her will in Seneca Falls

The Seneca Falls Police Department reports the arrest of a Waterloo man following a domestic incident that occurred on Tuesday.

Dejon Butler, 21, of Waterloo is accused of subjecting a female victim to unwanted physical contact by restraining her, and not allowing her to leave an apartment.

Police say Butler grabbed the woman by the throat, and applied enough pressure to leave a mark.

Butler was charged with harassment, unlawful imprisonment, and criminal obstruction of breathing.

Butler was processed and transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment. Police say he was also on parole, which resulted in him being held on a separate warrant as result of the incident.

New York State Parole and the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office assisted.
