Deputies: Driver charged with DWI, reckless endangerment after rollover crash in Ontario County

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports that a Richmond man was charged with driving while intoxicated and reckless endangerment following a crash investigation on County Road 33.

Deputies say they received a report of an intoxicated driver who had just rolled his vehicle on County Road 33 in the town of Richmond.

They responded and investigated, determining that James Leto, 58, of Richmond was intoxicated.

Deputies said Leto admitted that he had consumed alcohol prior to operating the vehicle.

He was charged with DWI and reckless endangerment.

No injuries were reported in the crash. An 18-year-old passenger was inside the vehicle at the time of the crash.
