One ticketed, three sent to hospital after three car crash on Rt. 104

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports that they are investigating a three-car crash that occurred in the town of Ontario on Tuesday a little before 5 p.m.

One person was cited following the crash, which happened in the area of State Route 104 and Knickerbocker Road.

Lisa Letzin was traveling east on Route 104 attempting to make a left turn onto Knickerbocker Road, when she failed to yield the right of way to a westbound vehicle operated by Jennifer Reynolds.

The two vehicles collided, then crashed into a third vehicle operated by Mark Coviello.

Deputies were assisted by the Ontario Fire Department, Ontario Ambulance, and Wayne County ALS.

Reynolds and her two passengers were transported to Rochester General Hospital with minor injuries, according to deputies. Letzin was ticketed for failing to yield the right of way.
