Deputies say investigation determined that a 21-year-old Waterloo resident was ticketed following a one-vehicle rollover crash in the town of Fayette on Saturday.

The crash happened in the area of West River and Knight roads around 3:45 a.m.

Deputies say Dustin Bennett, 21, of Waterloo was trapped inside his vehicle. Crews were able to safely remove him from the car.

Investigators say Bennett was traveling at a high rate of speed while using his cell phone. He was ticketed for speeding, using a mobile device while driving, operating without a license, and other moving violations.
