No serious injuries after two-car crash along 5&20 in Seneca Falls

On Monday around 9:43 a.m. the Seneca County 911 Center received multiple calls reporting a two-car crash in front of Aldi on 5&20.

The Seneca Falls Police Department responded, along with the Seneca Falls Fire Department and North Seneca Ambulance.

Police investigation determined that a vehicle being driven by 57-year-old Jimmie Perkins, of Bloomfield was traveling east when his vehicle left the lane it was in and sideswiped another vehicle.

That car was being operated by 64-year-old Phillip Chapman, of Crestview, Florida.

The collision caused Chapman’s vehicle to spin, then flip over before coming to rest on its side. Perkins was uninjured in the crash.

Police say Chapman sustained minor injuries, and was treated at the scene.

The Waterloo Police Department also assisted at the scene.
