Absentee ballot restrictions have been lifted, even if temporarily, to allow people to vote by mail in June 23rd’s special elections and primary.
At this point, the state appears positioned to allow in-person voting. Though that could change between now-and-then.
The Coronavirus pandemic will allow voters to mark the ‘temporary illness’ box on the application. Those applications can also be sent via email, which is another big change.
Typically those have to be mailed.
This primary year is expected to be busier than usual. It’s also expected to be significantly busier due to special elections taking place in regional districts.
