Police: Clyde man resisted arrest, hampered investigation into domestic incident

The Seneca Falls Police Department reports the arrest of a Clyde man following a domestic disturbance.

Laquan Whitfield, 32, of Clyde was arrested after police investigated the incident, in which he prevented from taking place.

While obstructing, Whitfield became aggressive, police said. He resisted arrest before being taken into custody.

Whitfield was charged with resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration.

The charges will be answered at a later date.

Police say Whitfield was turned over to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office due to a pending warrant.
