Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard says that on April 9th an arrest was made following a fatal crash that occurred on March 4th in Avoca.
That crash occurred on State Route 415, and while the operator was not identified – Allard says was under the influence of drugs.
The operator was charged with driving while ability impaired. Additional charges may be filed, the Sheriff added.
The investigation remains active.
