First responders say livestock died following a devastating fire in the town of Macedon on Tuesday.
A large barn burned near the intersection of Canandaigua Road and State Route 31.
A passerby reported the fire — it’s unclear at this time how it started.
A number of livestock — specifically cows — died in the blaze. However, equipment was also lost in the fire.
The cause remains under investigation.
