Deputies: Canandaigua driver ticketed after two-car crash

On Wednesday at approximately 3:20 p.m. first responders were called to the area of County Road 32 and Egypt Road for a personal injury crash.

Deputies say Donise Montanye, 50, of Canandaigua was operating an SUV that collided with a pickup truck operated by Terry Russel, 57, of Hemlock.

Investigation discovered that Montanye failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign, which resulted in the crash.

A 32-year-old passenger inside the pickup truck suffered minor knee injuries. Montanye suffered a minor neck injury. They were both treated at the scene ad released.

Montanye was also issued a citation for failing to yield the right of way at a stop sign.
