The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 34-year-old Farmington man following a rape investigation.
Christopher Fails, 34, of Farmington was charged with second-degree rape, a Class D felony.
Investigators say Fails had sexual contact with a 14-year-old victim in December 2019.
He was held at the Ontario County Jail pending arraignment. Then, held on $3,000 cash bail.
An order of protection was issued, and further court proceedings are expected.
