Sheriff: Two Syracuse residents arrested after larceny investigation in Seneca

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of two Syracuse residents following a larceny investigation in the town of Junius.

It was reported that two females were observed taking several items and leaving without paying. Deputies were able to locate both and found to be in possession of stolen property and unlawfully possessing marijuana.

Jessica Monserrate, 20, of Syracuse was charged with three counts of petit larceny, three counts of possession of burglars tools, one count of conspiracy, one count of endangering the welfare of a child, and one count of possession of stolen property.

Brittany Johnson, 26, of Syracuse was charged with two counts of petit larceny, two counts of possession of burglars tools, and one count of conspiracy and criminal possession of stolen property.

Both were ticketed and released.
