New York’s case against the opioid manufacturers and distributors is set to go to trial this month.
On Wednesday, Attorney General Letitia James says those companies’ efforts to push the trial date back were denied.
WHEC reports that the defendants include Rochester Drug Cooperative. Last month, they announced that they were shutting down.
The lawsuit alleges that the companies fueled the opioid crisis.
The trial is scheduled for March 20th.
