Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports that on February 25th deputies arrested a Corning resident following a violated protective order.
Christopher Burks, 41, of Corning is accused of violating a duly served order of protection by contacting a protected person at Spaulding Drive in Corning.
He threatened that person over the phone, according to Allard.
Burks was charged with aggravated harassment, and criminal contempt.
Two days later, Burks was arrested again. He had been violating a probation warrant.
Following that arrest, Burks was remanded to the Steuben County Jail.
