The Auburn man who intended to sell drugs in Cayuga County will spend several years in prison.
Robert Ruiz, 29, admitted in January to possessing cocaine, and his intent to sell it, according to The Citizen.
In return, he pleaded guilty to a Class C felony count of third-degree attempted criminal possession of a narcotic drug.
He was promised a sentence of 3.5 years in prison, with 2.5 years of post-release supervision.
That sentence was officially imposed this week.
