RIT lost to visiting Air Force, 3-0, Friday night in Atlantic Hockey action.
Air Force got on the board 13 seconds into the game after freshman forward Luke Manning stole a puck behind the Tiger net and stuffed a shot inside the right post.
Tiger senior defenseman Adam Brubacher (Elmira, Ontario/Powell River Kings) scored off a drop pass from junior forward Jake Hamacher (Corona, CA/Dubuque Fighting Saints) with 7:55 left in the second period. However, the goal was waved off after an RIT substitute behind the play was deemed to have jumped on the ice too quickly.
Final score – @AF_HKY 3, RIT 0 (another empty net goal with 17 sec. left); teams close the regular season tomorrow at 7:05PM at the Polisseni Center.
