Ontario County Administrator Mary Krause is on a paid leave of absence.
Speaking with FingerLakes1.com Jack Marren, Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, and Victor Town Supervisor confirmed the news late-Friday.
“Mary Krause is on a paid leave of absence until further notice,” he said. “Deputy County Administrator Brian Young will have full-authority in her absence.”
Marren did not go into detail about the changeover, but shared his confidence in the County’s ability to move forward.
He added that Krause was dealing with some personal matters.
The Board of Supervisors has a meeting scheduled for Tuesday.
