Will the Child Victims Act get extended?

Some lawmakers want to see that happen. Advocates around the state say that the window, which was opened by legislation action during the last budget cycle, should be opened for a lengthier period of time.



Governor Andrew Cuomo said he’s hesitant about extending the window.

The deadline for expiration at this point remains August.
