Police say sex offender failed to register address change in Geneva

The Geneva Police Department reports the arrest of a 50-year-old Monroe Street resident following an investigation into sex offender registry status.

Robert Fry, 50, of 84 Monroe St., Geneva, was arrested on February 21st at approximately 8:30 a.m. for failure to register and/or verify address as a sex offender.

The charge is a Class E felony. Police say that Fry failed to notify police of his new address within 10 days, as required by law.

He was held for arraignment.
