An Ontario County farm has been added to a Western New York Biogas project.
Finger Lakes News Radio reports that Lawnhurst Farms in Stanley will take part in the Yellowjacket project by San Francisco-based energy company Brightmark.
The farm will join five others in the region to help extract methane from 265,000 gallons of manure on a daily basis.
Brightmark says it will upgrade gas collection equipment at the farms by next year.
